Back in 2018, the Lord told me he was Rebuilding the House! I didn’t understand it right off of course, it was just what I heard. As of today, the last day in January 2022, the Lord is still building and unraveling this word to me. And it gets better and better, more in depth, more saturated, and more purposeful every time I engage with it. So much has happened since my initial encounter with this, but it’s all been a part of the building, hallelujah!
Strong structures have to be built; constructed; established; strengthened. Strong structures don’t just appear, they take time – in planning and preparation, and are manifested through the foundation of faith – in prayer and relationship with the Lord.
I’ve been wanting a new house for a long time now! Not necessarily new, but “new” to me. I actually prefer older homes because they have so much character. Older homes are built better, stronger, with quality, solid materials; you can’t just punch a hole in the wall of an older home – you’ll break your hand, lol. My desire for a new home of my own is so heavy that I’m light weight obsessed with the idea of it honestly. There are several reasons why I want a house (which I’ll get to later), but through my prayer and mediation I realized that if I don’t come to know Him as my dwelling place, I’ll never come into an appreciation of a physical house. He said this because I’m a spiritual house, and He’s Spirit!
God is Spirit, and they that worship, must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!
John 4:24 (KJV)
He said “See yourself as the house! The dwelling place where I long to abide!” So I perceived that if I don’t come to know Him as my dwelling place, I’ll never come into an appreciation of me – as a spiritual house; then I’ll never learn how to maintain my house naturally (my spiritual house in the earth). I must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, in the reality of who He is – to Me! Because it is He that measures what I will be able to produce in the earth! I discovered that He’s manifesting Himself through the reality of what I believe! So, if I don’t believe, I don’t see!
I heard the Lord say:
“The level of your reality, is the level (measure) of your experience!”
And this is my experience with Him!
My relationship with Him!
My exchange with Him!
In this experience, I came to know that He can’t go deeper than my reality; He can’t go deeper than what I believe about Him; He can’t go beyond where I “See” Him; and He can’t go beyond the light of my own understanding, if I reject His illumination! This is why in Ephesians 1 Paul prays for the light of our understanding to be illuminated.
“16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,”

In the heart of worship, the story of The Woman at the Well was illuminated (John 4:16-21). In this text, Jesus was speaking of more excellent things! And was therefore, requiring a more excellent response. This woman was caught up on the natural rules and protocols for drawing from the well, that she almost missed her encounter. When Jesus told her to call her husband and come, she responded “Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.” (v.20)
For every spiritual pronouncement Jesus gave her, she gave him back her reality – outside of relationship! She was talking about a form of worship she truly had no relationship with! And so like this woman, my natural responses to my “need” for a house, don’t carry enough weight! He said: “Become the house, because you are the house!” Our response to God must come from a place of experience with Him! True Worship Must Be Produced In You! Because this place, is a production – of your knowing, understanding, and agreement! It’s a putting down and governing of My Way, and an honoring and picking up of His Way!
Then Jesus tells her “21 Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”

There’s an existence we don’t understand, but He’s calling us to it!
This is the time…
This is the hour…
And the hour cometh, because the Kingdom must be demonstrated!

- deny themselves
- pick up their cross
- and follow Him!!!!!!!
It is them that will be given weight!
It is them that will be given the ability to contend, for kingdom sake!

I hear the Lord saying:
“I’m calling forth worship from a different stream”
“You will no longer worship me without knowledge!”
“You will no longer worship me without an experience, because my Spirit, is the experience of Me!”
“The depth of your spirit, is the experience of Me!”
John 4:22

Prayer:
Father I thank you for this Word! I thank you for your Love! And I thank you for the illumination of your Word in Truth, as it comes back to you in worship! Enliven our hearts to desire a greater experience with you every time we seek you. You desire to rebuild the house through right relationship, so Lord teach us how to be in relationship with you. How to see you, how to hear you, how to love you, how to exchange with you in the new place. Tear down the old and build us up in the new, hallelujah! Help us to take hold of the new and living way by your Spirit, so that we can move forcefully in the earth as Kingdom agents. Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord! In this – we shall live, move and have our being. Strengthen our spirit for life anew in You, in Jesus name I pray – Amen.
