I was talking to myself in God today, and asked the question…..Who are you?
Who Are You???

- You get to pick!
- You get to choose!
- You get to decide!

The way I receive….. I get to choose!
As I asked myself this question, the Holy Spirit answered:
‘If who you truly wanna be (who you desire to be/desire to show up) is contingent upon the others, and how they show up & respond to you; your existence is amiss.!’
This was so good, because it challenged me! And I began reflecting ME, and why I do things!
- Is the presence of my existence wrong, incorrect, or faulty?
- Am I annoying or annoyed?
- Am I offended or offensive?
- Am I out of order and bringing resentment to myself?
Do I do it because I genuinely want to, because it’s in me to do, because I have the capacity to, and because I want to produce and be good to the person or space?
He made me check my motives for being & existing in space.
Like, if what I wanna be & what I wanna do, is contingent on how another person(s) responds to it (good, bad, ugly, indifferent)….was that really my hearts desire? Did I really give out of my true self?
So what I gathered is: Hold what’s yours! And leave the rest out! Don’t let someone else’s response, determine how I show up!
He said “hold what’s yours” because whatever gifting, measure, or blessing I have – was a gift to me anyway! I don’t get to determine someone’s worthiness! Nor is it fair to deal with others from my personal place of offense.
Geeeeeeesssssh!!! This is real grown up talk Lord!
Don’t pick up what’s not yours! No matter how enticing it may be, regardless of the experience of evil, negative intention, malice, hurt or confusion. Because it takes a strong & courageous person, to be true to themselves!

Leave out the fluff & be true to you!
You get to choose how you show up in the world today! When you ask for help, He will give you the strength to produce your best self!
